My happy little farm
Well I have one tank that has become the Ark or is trying to. Here is the list of everything I know of right now in my 10 galon farm:
Some new kind of 1/4 inch white worm
Oh and I actually have some fish in there too!
And that's all I know I have, for the time being anyway.
That sounds great! Could you post a picture? 8)
I wish I could but the littlew things are so small I should have named this topic:
My happy microscopic farm! lol
The hydras are only 1/16-1/8 inch at the most and transparent. The copopods are tiny, The worm has vanished. It is just almost impossible to get picks of anything but the snails, and the fish. There is a picture of my tank in the freshwater pictures section but I doubt you will ever see the microscopic stuff.
My only little farm is a pond full of pond snails and occasionally, dragonfly nymphs.
If you have a microscope, take a little of the leaf litter or mulm off the bottom and put it under the microscope. I will bet you have alot more in there than you think. I would even venture you have some water beetles and other cool critters in there from time to time.
I have a Woodlouse farm  quite simple really. And we keep talking about doing a Wormery.
AHH YES!! thank you soo much! i have a 10 gallon that became very algea infested so i took the 2 fish in there and added them to my 55 community tank (there ndoing great) ive always seen these little see-through snaily things crawling around and ive never known what they were but i just looked up water fleas and thats what they are! i got all creeped out since there kinda wierd. right now the tank is just sitting there but ill need to completely clean it out and redecorate because of how much algea had grown. wonder what ill put in there....
