NOW, My tank looks like this....

So i left on this last trip and two days after i left my wife tells me the tank looks "brown". Well, after just under two weeks i just got home and am able to post a pic.....Is this diatom?

I know most of you are going to ask if i used RO/DI, the answer is no but my unit should be here today or tomorrow and i plan on doing a big water change and a few smaller changes throughout the next week or so..Does this sound right? Also my parameters are this:

PH-8.2
SG-1.025
Ammonia- 0
nitrite-0
nitrate-around 5-10 (hoping water change will get this down)
temp-79

The tank has been up and running for 2 months and it seems (i hope) that this is my initial bloom.

Also, going to get a calcium/phoshpate test kit tomorrow!

Thanks in advance!

Yes that is a diatom. At this time if you have not already I suggest getting a small CUC.
