Third and hopefully final renovation
My 28 gallon has had an outstanding love/hate relationship with me. While it houses very prolific corydoras and other healthy fish, plants have been...finicky. I have recently changed substrate. A difficult process that needs to be done quickly, in efforts to salvage as much of the existing beneficial bacteria as you can. My tank is mini-cycling right now, but the fish seem again at ease. Hopefully time will fill the tank in the way I desire, but here it is...
It looks great!!
And it's nice to "see" you again. :)
The cory photo is adorable!!!! very nice plants,,!!!!
I love the tank but I love the cory picture even better. It is adorable.
Thanks Romad, I may not always be "here" but I'm constantly working to improve my tanks. I'll never stop loving fish :)
Thanks Joey and Calmwaters :) My cories are among the first fish I have ever gotten
I agree with everyone else, the tank looks great. I LOVE the cory picture. Good to see you back, we've missed you. Glad the tank is coming along so nicely. :-)
Thanks Kymmie. Trust me, I still lurk ;) That cory photo is a real hit!
I think it's great that you've managed to achieve such a natural look. Are those tall Java Ferns I see at the top left of your aquarium?
Looks like Java Fern 'Windelov' or 'Trident'.
Yep, redchigh is spot on!
