clown vs yoyo my clown loach tooled my yoyo so now im forced to move it to my new tank sucks huh? |
hi that's a shame,doesn't really surprise me though. |
the clown actually ripped the yoyos fin a bit |
do they compete for food, or was it a totally ramdom attack, my experience with YoYos is that my other fish found them too boisterous it caused problems between the clowns and the corydoras so the loaches had to be moved. |
i put 3 pellets in so they werent competing |
How big is your clown? 3 pellets for 2 loaches? |
3 pellets for 2 loaches 2 corrys and every other fish that nibbles |
That doesnt make it better... |
I gather you have just the one clown and one yoyo loach? If that is the case then there is most of your problem. Yoyo's and clowns are a shoaling fish and it is recommended 5 as a minimum. Solo yoyo's can become aggressive. |
The clown loaches are best kept in a 100 gallons minimum. These are very large fish and will need a lot of swimming space for stable growth. There is still a lot to learn about them. You have to rehome them in a bigger tank I'm afraid.;) |
