my pair of the above have just recently turned really nasty attacking anything that moves and leaving a syno cat near dead they seem to concentrate there circle of hate around a small area in the rocks are they breeding or is there another reson behind this?

More than likely their behaviour is part of their pre-nups. They are cichlids, afterall. I have the luxury of keeping my julidochomis' in species tanks. If at all possible, you may want to do the same.

im gonna remove the syno cat as soon as i can catch it they dont bother anything else its just they ignored it until now
