My 60 Gallon FOWLR build
Just added 11 pounds of Fiji live rock to try to give the cycling process a little boost. Added five snails as well.
nice looking tank bro good luck im cycling a 20 gl right now its been about 2 1/2 weeks so far
I'm just starting week four and I have to say that it's challenging my patience compared to the many many freshwater setups I've had in the past. LOL
lol i hear you i hate to wait...
Looks good! Keep being patient, that is THE best way to do it!!! Trust me I know its hard!!!!!
I'm not sure what you are planning on stocking, but you might want to make sure your rockwork is very steady and secure. I can't tell if it is or not, but make sure your base rocks are actually touching the bottom of the aquarium, not just sitting in the sand. Some inverts and fish tend to dig in the sand. :-)
I took the leap of faith and added 6 small blue green chromis. They've been happily darting around for 6 hours now, so far so good. :)
I had my Damsels in around the 2-3 week point. They did ok. I personally never added more than 2 fish at a time to let the bacteria catch up with the bioload, but good luck with your new Chromis fishies!
A few more pics, including the Chromis and the newly added clowns etc..
I love it so far, it's going to be awesome watvhing things grow and expand over time. :-D
Is this a reef or a FOWLR? Also what kind of Clown is that?
