I need a Skimmer
 

Ok, i got a skimmer the other day from my Local but it was to big for the sump and I didn't want it in the tank itself, plus to the pump was 45wat@ only 1800ltrs...bit to hot for a small pump. So I sold it for the same price on ebay, luckily.


Anyway I want one that can sit beside my sump(external)
what would be good...Brand, Venturi, cost i can go to...about $200-250 or cheaper.

I'm not to sure but there arent many skimmer that will fit in a 12 gal sump.

one that can sit out-side the sump, next to it.

You would have to mod one to do that. Because all dump the water right next to it.

what about this type, it can hang on the side of a tank so could I have it hang on the side of the sump. These guys are sorta near me...2 hour drive.

OK I understand what you mean now. I misunderstood, I thought you didnt want tit to hang or be in the tank.For a good hang on the tank go with the coralife super skimmer they are the best when it comes to hang on the back skimmers.

Deltec MCE300 would eat a coralife skimmer.

Ya i love that skimmer, im gunna get one when i finaly get a skimmer.
