Kitty bath time :3

Oliver and cally had their baths yesterday. They are all clean, silk, and smell like flowers ^_^ Pics just for you Aunt Kymmie:lol:

Cally helped me today with her unwavering oversight during the dismantling and parting out of my parents old broken 52" TV. This is the most amazing wire harness ever. It will supply many many many DIY projects to come.

Thank you!! Those are the cutest cats!! They don't even look like they were mad at you for giving them baths. I loved how Cally would actually sit still for you with that harness on so you could take her picture. My cat would have been flipping out, lol. Great pics. :-D

Thanks, They are daycare kitties(I call them bomb proof lol). Baths are a normal thing. They don't like them, but they know there is nothing they can do to get out of it and its not the end of the world. Worst is actually dragging them in the bathroom. Oliver runs around every were in a very low crouch, he's like "$&^#, #*&%, #^*@ Its bath time." Once they are actually in the tub and wet they just stand there and deal with it. Never put up a fight and rarely ever cry during baths. By myself I can have them both washed and almost dry in about an hour. Both fully clawed and I don't get a scratch. Cats bathe pretty well IMO if you make a habit of it especially when they are young.

She wasn't actually too sure about that wire harness. I was messing with her and tossed it on her 2-3 times and the typical "OMG, its on me" reaction. I thought it looked cute though. She knows sit, shake and stay commands to varying degrees. Told her to park it so I could take the pic:lol:

Sit, stay and shake?? Wow. How can you tease me like that without posting a video?? (You just knew I was going to ask!!)

Cute pictures! I leave all the bath time rituals of our four legged babies to my hubby. He bathes the cats four times a year and our new puppy once a month. I would never attempt the clawed cats, but he does it without a scratch on him as well. Very impressive how your cat knows commands! I wanna see too!!

Super cute! I love how cats look with their wet bodies and dry faces haha. There's something so sad and pitiful about them when they're in that state.

What method did you use for training? I have trained my cat to sit. I started working on shake, but got bored. We got to the pOint where he'd touch my hand sometimes... But whe i'd go to grab his paw and actually shake it, he'd get spooked and run away. I used clicker training. I don't ever plan on teaching him "stay" but if i could teach him "quit jmping on my lap and sticking your butt in my face" that'd be awesome.
