Boring Intro to Me
 

Hi! Obviously I'm new to fishforum.com or I'd not be posting here!

I finally got my own fish tank 3 years ago when my daughter wanted one as a prize for learning to go potty! She learned to potty, but didn't care anything about the fish after the first couple of weeks. LUCKY ME! I've wanted fish since I was little....I'm having a ball!

I have a 30 gallon tank...3 platies, 3 zebra danios. I have one platy in a breeding net....or whatever they're called...she is dropping fry now. (How do I know when she's done, by the way?) I'm so excited...I checked last night and there were 2 fry ....what a great Mother's Day!

My husband thinks I'm crazy for watching fish...like it's boring, but I've found it to be very relaxing and I love to watch them chase each other, eat....just be fish without a care in the world!

I'm looking forward to meeting some of you!

you're gonna need a bigger tank LOL,
it will be a good excuse to give to your OH.
"Honey the babies have out grown the tank POOR things."
and don't forget to flutter your eye lashes.!!

I'd love to add a tank (or two), but DH won't hear to it....like HE takes care of the one we have! Maybe I can add a tank for the babies...sneak it in for the sake of them....not me!
