9W PL Bulb
It's me again, with yet another plant question!! haha
I have a 4 gallon tank with a 9W PL Bulb and was just wondering, whether the bulb will keep Anubias alive and looking healthy? I know these plants need little light to survive and grow, but is a 9W bulb too little light?
What kinda bulb to start? Incandescent or fluorescent?
Anyone have an idea?
I can't see a problem. A 9w light of any sort (well, almost;-)) over a 4g tank will likely be sufficient light. Anubias like shade, such as floating plants overhead. If the light is too much, Anubias are targets for brush algae. You can monitor and increase/decrease the duration.
