Tiny bubbles(?) on my hornwort I can't figure out what these are. They look like tiny bubbles, but I suppose they could be eggs or something else. It is only showing up on my hornwort, and only in the 15g tank. They are hard to remove, they don't just pop like air bubbles. But they do come off with a few attempts.. But at the same time I don't feel anything when I try (it is not sticky or slimy). Here is a picture: http://www.tropicalfishkeeping.com/m...bles-10274.jpg And here is my tank setup: 15g - 15 gallon Freshwater fish tank I thought it could it be that my male Betta is trying to build a nest. But there are no females in the tank and they seem way too small. Any ideas? |
Its kind of hard to tell from the quality of the picture but my guess would be some sort of algae just from the simple fact there is so much of it. |
looks like mold almost..... |
Thanks! Sounds like it's 'not good' either way. Since I have plenty of healthy hornwort in my 10g and it grows like mad, I threw the whole batch out! :) |
