big bad bristle worm
I was feeding my clown fish and somebody else decided that they were big and hungry enough to come out for food. It's one of those pink and black bristle worms but i think he's been getting alot of food. the rock anenome behind him is about 4 inches wide. i know they get big but huge worms crawling around in my tank....i don't want to change water anymore...
I would move house! I am so terrified of worms!
Do these just appear in SW tanks? If so, I am never getting one!
when i first started seeing them they were tiny. i dont know how big they get but i definitly dont want it to touch me! i think that most of the time you do get them in your live rock or sand yes.
they can get rather large. i have had someone told me he pulled some out of his tank that were tha size of his pinkie finger.
their also called fire worms cause if you touch them and sometimes if you even pick up a rock, your hands can feel like their on fire for hours.i found out the hard way.
...I dunno...I think it's kinda cool...
I suppose if it isn't eating anyone it shouldn't...I'd leave it be...
oh yeah their reef safe, just don't touch them is all i was saying.they clean up waste and stuff.
i woulndt touch them anyway, kinda creepy.
I seen one 5x that size. IT was in a LFS tank. They kept him in a tank with rumble rock to show customers what they look like.
