Is this food ok for albino cory cats?
I have tetra color flake food which lands on the bottom, tadpole pellets, and hikari brand algae pellets. is this ok for them too eat or should i buy something else?
First off, as you are a new member, welcome to Tropical Fish Keeping forum.
The Hikari pellets are fine. The "tadpole" pellets might be eaten, but I don't know if the nutritional value is suitable for corys. Flake food that sinks will not be sufficient and in my experience corys don't seem too keen on flakes anyway.
Most any good sinking tablet/pellet food for bottom fish will do. You have a veggie one in the Hikari, and veggie foods are good for all fish for the digestive tract; so I would get one or two "meaty" sinking foods. All of my bottom fish, be they catfish or loaches, really go for Nutrafin's sinking tablets. And the shrimp pellets are readily consumed. Of course frozen bloodworms are relished, but only as a treat once or twice weekly.
You can buy "shrimp pellets" relatively cheap... Earthworm sticks are another good choice.
are these ok:Wardley Shrimp Pellets Sinking Tropical Food at PETCO
and the type of tadpole pellets i have are:Zoo Med Aquatic Frog & Tadpole Food at PETCO
The Wardley shrimp pellets are fine; I have used them.
The frog/tadpole food I am not sure of; it doesn't say what is in it, and even if it did, I am not knowledgeable on fish diet such that I would be able to say.
