Will the owner of this fish please identify themselves!

I saw this fish under the members gallery photos at the size. I'm really interested in what type of puffer this is and it's requirements etc.

It's a beautiful fish whoever you are!

I dunno...looks like a close-up of a dwarf puffer to me...

...but that's even closer than I can get to see mine in real life...

Def not a dwarf puffer. At least, it REALLY doesn't look like one. :/

I didn't think it was a dwarf puffer, but I can't find out what it is either. I've tried googling different puffers and haven't come up with one that looks enough like it that I'm satisfied that's what it is.

It's an Tetraodon abei, also known as Aebi Puffer or Abe's Puffer.

Oh right!

I think I saw them while I was searching but I was put off by the markings on some of them. Of course there's often differences in markings between adults and juveniles.

Also, sometimes googling a thinkg isn't always the best thing to do because you get mislabled fish which can be confusing as well.

Thanks Kate!

If the owner is still about, I'd still like to hear from them to hear a bit about this fish.

Does this fish perhaps belong to premo?
