my silver dollar has alot of white dots all over him. ive just noticed it tonight. i have a 10 gallon set up with no fishies in it. should i quarinteen him?

As long as he is already by himself he is in effect in QT. You can treat him in the tank he is already in.

no now he is in my community tank. should i put him in solitary confinement?

If you read the article (and you did read the article, right?? ;-)) once one fish has Ich they have ALL been exposed and the entire tank must be treated.
