Slight change 2 stocking list...ok?
I had an old post about my 50 gallon stocking list for Malawi Mbunas ...(http://www.tropicalfishkeeping.com/c...ng-list-57190/) there is some pics of the tank at the bottom, pH 8.2 hardness 7.
I want to replace the cobalt blue's with electric yellows. Would this be ok?
Here is what the revised list looks like:
1 male 4 females of each:
Elongatus Kanchedza (Buy Live Elongatus Kanchedza .)
Red Top Ndumbi (Buy Live Red Top Ndumbi Pseudotropheus sp. "Perspicax Orange Cap")
and 1 male 3 females of Electric Yellow (what my pet store has).
I plan on getting the yellows today so please respond...
btw is it all right if i put in the yellows now and then around January put in the other fish?
Yellow Labs are one of the least aggressive Mbunas and should work with pretty much any other Mbuna. I would actually suggest stocking the yellow labs first and then the more aggressive species, allowing Labs to establish themselves before the more aggressive fish arrive.
ok good, I was planning on putting them in first. Thanks
