I have added 10 MTS into my 10 gallon tank. It there any way i can encourage them to reproduce? How long will it take them to reproduce?
This is probally a silly question but i was a little worried when I didn't see MTS babies in the gravel after 2 weeks.
I just saw my first MTS baby today after about a month of putting 6 in my tank. Assuming there are more in the gravel. Hang in there, you'll see them soon enough.
I added a few and when ever i do a water change i see hundreds going u with the gravel... Took about 1-3months to start seeing them..
Well not literally but you get quite a few!! But my assasin snail is keeping the numbers down!1 YAYA!!!
Thanks, Can MTS ever be too old to breed?
|Im not quite sure, i wouldnt think so.
i had a juvenile MTS added to my tank about a year or so ago, i now have hundreds. Dont encourage breeding, it will happen on its own. They reproduce asexually as well as sexually so its kind of impossible to stop the breeding.
