What would you buy?

I'm going to expand my breeding operation to actual breeding. (since livebearers and mts don't count as 'breeding' lol )

These are the species I'm considering-
Various nerite snails- zebra, corona, and ruby
Green corydoras
celestial pearl danio
tiger shrimp
RCS (yes, more.)
High-grade guppies (blue moscow, etc)
crystal red shrimp/crystal black shrimp
Amano shrimp

what would you buy online if it's successful?

SinCrisis 12-10-2010 01:10 PM

red/black crystal shrimp and/or tiger shrimp fsho, and i may buy some depending on what my setup looks like when you've succeeded...

1st pick Corys, 2nd pick Guppies.

I buy some nice quality endlers.. But out of the list the Celestial Pearl Danios, Or Corys

Celestial Pearl Danios! I love those guys, but the ones I find online are either too expensive or too many in a lot. I definitely want some in my next tank when I get it set up.

I agree on the Celestial Pearl Danios.. Harder to find.. perhaps a better market for them.. Their attractiveness and size makes them good choices... IMHO.

I agree that the market for the celestial pearl danios should be good. I often see them recommended for small tanks and there are a lot of people who buy small tanks and then need to find fish for them. I've never seen them here - are they hard to find in the shops where you are? If so, that would make them even more marketable on-line.

After that, the cories. There are a lot of cory fans, I think, and a different type of cory would get some attention.

Oh yes, I will always go for cories.. the more the better.. a not usually available species would be excellent, but given that list, I thought the danios..

the fish boy- Didn't list it because I'm already breeding some nice wild-descendant endlers. :)

The cories I was thinking about was just the emerald cory- pretty easy to find.

I guess the most popular one is the cpd, eh?

thefishboy 12-11-2010 10:59 AM

Ok must of overlooked that.. Defo the cpd!!!:-):-):-):-)
