Are zebra danio's hard to breed?Because i have mine breeding regularly and have had the chance to catch a few and raise them.i currently have 2-4 being raised in a 10 gallon npt.
Last time I checked, Zebra Danios are among the easiest to breed.
ahh oh i was just wondering, thanks for the info

thanks alot! BIG help.
When I want danio fry I simply throw a pr in a 10 gallon tank with Pebbles/rocks in it for a couple days.
then remove the adult ,throw in a bunch of watersprite and javamoss, then in about a week I get my specks on and theirs always hundreds swimming around.
The females are always full of eggs it seems even after spawning hundreds of fry.
a Sponge type filter is necassary if you want the young to survive, Power filters just sucks the fry up.
As the others said they are one of the easiest egg laying fish..
