clcying Q hey i'm fishless cycleing 55 gal tank i put a filter cartridge from my ten gal in to my new bio wheel fiter how should i keep it in there for. its been in right now for about 3 hours should i take it out |
My impression was that you should leave the filter media in until the tank has cycled but I have no idea what I'm talking about  . |
yea...that sounds right. leave it in until your tank is cycled. it should cycle quickly with the media from the established tank. bri |
yes...your doing the same thing that i did with my 55 gallon when i started it up...I took the filter from my 10 gallon into my 55 gallon and it cycled the tank within 2 days! I also had my other filter 4 the tank hooked up also. And I had gravel from my 10 also...so my cycle was a piece of cake. You should be doing good with that kept on! Nick |
