Changing from Wet/dry to fuge
I am gonna change my filtration in about a week. My question is how do I swap them over? I have the bio balls in the wet dry. If I just change everything over will the tank be ok?
I just changed over to the Active Reef Plugs(1/5/07) from Bio-cubes and in 6 days my Nitrate is lower that it has been in 8 months.
The guys on here will give you all the info you need
Did you just swap the filters or did you do anything special?
I just pulled all my bio-cubes/balls(top layer was balls) and put in 240 Active reef Balls/plugs(?), that had been cycled by a Mob near me called Coral Plantations, and I put one layer of Bio-balls, that were the original top layer in my old set-up. They told me to leave the bio-balls in there of a about 3-4 weeks, just to mix up some old with the new, then just take them out.
