last time i was on here i had alot of guppies and platy babies..lets see first my tank got infested with ich..just cudnt beat it so i lost every single fish except for a 10 month old female guppy i raised myself :)..after buying 2 more females both of them gave birth to a total of 28 fry last week and they r growing rlly fast..lost one female guppy today,i cant believe i still have that 10 month one..she was with tons of males and she NEVER got pregnant..i dont know whats up with her but i dont want her to die so i hope she stays like this..she hasnt developed ANY color at all! i dont know why can someone help me on that??

Some female Guppies never develop any colour, it's quite normal.

She may be infertile but that shouldn't effect her health. I have a female red/blonde that is infertile but she's quite happy and healthy.

well i wudnt care if she was infertile :) i just cant believe she lived thru ick and other problems :)..her mom was colorless to though and she looks like her..but this girl is huge! her stomach has been huge since she was 6 months and its all bloated black and orange inside..i cant tell if shes pregnant but i dont think so. my next goal is to raise a male to get colors out of that one :D how do u know when they r infertile?
