another question about zebra nerite snail
Is it normal for them to bury themselves under the substrate? 'Cause that's what mine is doing. He must have done it last night because this morning when I turned the light on I couldn't see him at all. I wasn't too worried about it because he likes to rest under or behind the filter but this afternoon when I returned home I still couldn't see him anywhere. I looked all over in case he climbed out of the aquarium but there was no sign of him. Then about an hour ago I was doing a water change and accidentally uncovered him. Now he's burying himself again. Is this normal behavior or is something very wrong? It's been overcast here a lot the last week and a half, and today it started raining pretty hard. Is this just a natural reaction to the barometric pressure and rain?
