My therapy

Hello everyone, glad to be here.

My story is pretty simple. I am a chronic PTSD sufferer and have found that maintaining my aquarium helps keep my mind off the bad stuff and focused in positive way. I've had aquariums before but I've never poured as much into them as I have into the one of have now. I spend most of my time in my garage (isolation, part of the condition), so I set it up in there and I find myself eyeballing it constantly. A day doesn't go by that I'm not working on it in some form or fashion. I even built the stand.

Anyway, I spend most of my time at work staring at a computer screen and thought it would make sense to carry this obsession over and think about aquariums 15 hours a day.

Hi Tyrant,

Welcome to the forum. We hope you'll like it here.

What size setup do you have and what are the inhabitants?

If you're limited for space in your office, near your computer, you can always get a 2.5 gallon with a single betta.

Man Cave - 55 gallon Freshwater fish tank

Just added another wysteria, 2 moneywarts (floating weave for fry), a bamboo stalk, and a couple more sandstones.

The problem isn't space at work, I just don't have an exclusive desk. I've owned many bettas in my day, if I could that would be the direction I would take.
