My beautiful Red Empress Male is quite the "man" he's making ton babys with the females in the tank.
The oldest group of fry are about 2 months and are about 3/4" long. They all started out looking the same but recently several of them are a lot lighter than the rest. I know they say that you cannot sex them until they are 2" and get either egg spots on the bottom fin OR the bottom fin becomes pointy instead of rounded (both are suppose to show "males". It seems odd that of the group of 35 there are a good 10 of them that have almost no "striping" on them and appear to have a more dominate darker bottom fin... Wondering if this means something?
