Catappa Leaves in community aquarium?
I have been reading about the benefits of using these leaves in aquariums. I know that bettas seem to benefit from them most. The question I have though is whether it is something that I should be using in my 20 gal community tank. I have cherry barbs, corydoras and Otocinclus in the tank. Would they benefit from using the leaves in their tank or would the leaves be harmful?
thank you in advance for your time.. I've recently started keeping fish again after a 30 year absence in having them, and I don't remember ever having these before.
They are not harmful if you dont "overdose" them.
In 20G i'd put 1 and replace it every... 1-2 weeks. But they do kinda make the water look like tea, brownish.
