What plays well with a Black Moor
In an earlier thread, I mentioned that I rescued a Black Moor and two Loaches. I believe I'll be setting up one of my 37 gallon tanks soon for the Moor. This way, he has plenty of room to grow and thrive.
What other fish would be good to put with him? I'm thinking one other Black Moor but that would be a bit boring right?
EDIT: The Loaches are Silver Stripes. NOT YoYo like I thought until I did more research. Can these guys live in the cooler water a Moor would prefer?
Yoyo loaches (actually most loaches, for that matter) can be pretty cranky. I wouldn't do it. Generally, the only fish that play well with goldfish are other goldfish. If you heat your tank to 72 or so you could try a bristlenose pleco... they are one of the only tried and true non-goldie tankmates.
You could put another fantailed type fish in with the moor then a school of 6 or so white clouds. That would be it tho.
White clouds are really quite pretty, and they are cold water - they come from the mountain regions of China if I remember right. :)
