My Yellowbelly Regal Tang
Here are some pictures of my yellowbelly regal tang:
I just put some seaweed in the tank for him, so I will try to get better pictures when he comes out.
he looks kind of pale. then again, it may just be the pic. has he played dead yet?
He hasn't played dead, he was under the LR when I took the picture, also the glass was dirty, and my camera can't do close ups well.
I just noticed that in the pictures, I didn't see that before, he is swimming around the tank, and the top half of him is navy blue like it should be.
Here are some slightly better pictures:
I'm a little concerned about the mark on the tang. The first picture has an arrow pointing to it.
it may be ich. but i am more concerned bout his weight. he looks very skinny. make sure you put algea in there like evryday, and feed him plenty. you want to get him plump and healthy so his immune system id good to fight off the ich. if thats what hes got, which more than likely is.
I feed him a 3" by 6" sheet of seaweed everyday.
I also feed mine some pellets. what size is he? He looks young.
Is your mean? Mine is the king of the tank. very territorial. eats like a pig.
here is a link to my thread on my Yellow belly blue hippo.
I responded about a week ago to your thread. He isn't mean, and in fact the damsels tell him what to do. :D He is about 5" and I think liveaquaria starved him before shipping.
