I was on amazon.com and a dealer I was looking at supposedly sells live fish from the amazon(I do not support buyin WC fish which I assume they are) and I was wondering what one of them is!? I've never seen it before... I searched all sorts of plecos, which is what it looks like to me..
some of the others are cool too, although not so uncommon.
This is the link. If it doesnt work, let me know...
ornamental fish products, buy ornamental fish products from alibaba.com
Wild caught fish are not such a bad thing. As a member of another forum once expressed, It can often times provide a source of income for local peoples who may be existing on next to nothing and thereby places a value on the area where the fish are collected.
In turn,,this stretch of river or perhaps lake may not be as subject to development for it would deprive those native peoples of a source of much needed income. In turn,, these peoples have a financial interest in not over-harvesting.
Anything that helps protect such area's is a good thing. This may seem like not much but every little bit helps.
I wouldn't know but, is that ornamental fish real? It looks rubber and is called "ornamental fish" under the catagory "fish products." I don't know if that is what you origanally posted on. First thing that popped up off the link.
That looks like a Albino Frog Mouth Catfish to me
