I have a tiger barb who has been acting wiered hang up front at the top my readings are posted on another topic but heres the main one ammonia is 8.0 still and ph 7.6 everything else 0. he all of a sudden shot into the plant and is now laying on ithttp://www.fishforum.com/userpix/194...ger_Barb_1.jpg

More water changes here. Check your test kit for defects. Is that expired? Your tiger barb has little chances of surviving unless the ammonia completely disappears.

I did see that.:) You just needed plenty of water changes to get rid of ammonia. Try to ask your friend or lfs for their established sponge filter media if you haven't so there will be enough bacteria to allow cycling of tank quickly.

How many days has the tank been stuck to ammonia? I remember in your other topic that you still have ammonia and zero in nitrites and nitrates.

april 8th was when i setup the tank and then april 13th is when we put fish in

It seems to me that you have been stuck to your ammonia for quite awhile now.:? Keep us updated with the water parameters when you're done with the established filter media. You need it to save your fish from ammonia toxicity.

Should I add Some Salt Or No And Should I Add Some Water Conditioner

No salt. Some may tell you to do so but I don't see how that will help. Your fish are not saltwater or brackish. You can add water conditioner.
