Film on top of the water
 

Have a fine film on top of the water, was thinking it could be the white spot treatment i have been using or the wormer, but this was here before i started to use them, could it be ammonia? it is a new ish tank has only been up for 3 weeks have added loads of bacteria etc to the tank and only have a few fish and a filter which will do double the size of the tank, there is no carbon in the filter at the moment due to treatment but when it was in there, there was still a slight film. and ideas please

Remove it with a sheet of tissue paper. Lay it on the top and let it absorb it. Keep us updated if the problem persists.

Thanks i will give that a go, have also moved the out pipe up to disturb the water surface and brake it down a bit more, i just want to stick my carbon back in. flipping white spot

have we seen any improvement ?
