New to the forum!
 

Hello everyone,

My name's Alex, and I'm new here.

I've been "officially" keeping fish for over five years now. Of course, in the past I kept Bettas, and Goldfish.

My favorite fish are cichlids, and anything exotic. I like cichlids because of the varieties they can come in, their colorations, as well as their parenting habits.

I currently have an 55 gallon African Cichlid tank. It's a real joy. For substrate I use playsand that can be purchased at most Lowe's or Home Depot's for $3.00-5.00 for a 50 pound bag.

Anyways, enough about me! Hope to meet a lot of new fish keepers!
