Inexpensive ideas for the hobby!

just wanna post a picture of a cheap way to introduce livestock into your tank and give you the ability to watch and remove if the specimen gets sick within the first couple of days without disturbing your live rock or tearing down your tank to catch the animal. just use the magnet to hold the cage in place above the water line. It cost like a under a buck at any office store

If you'd like to add an idea that's cheap and usefull to this hobby please do it here

man that is great!!!!!!!!!!!
as for another idea that i have used
i got a cheap $20 pump at the local Petco and found that i really was not happy with its out put.... i took the piece off that holds the impeller and drilled 8 evenly spaced holes in it... now it puts out 5x the power really great way to save on buying more or more expensive pumps....

Does anyone have a Sea Max system. I have had a reef tank for15+ years, and I was thinking about buying one. Any negatives? Or positives welcome!!
