Question on treatment for Ick

So my Discus fish have Ick. I went to my LFS and they gave me a Chelated Copper Sulfate. I am unsure about it though because of how fragile Discus are. Should I only use have the recomended dose? And also, Should I add aquarium salt to help relieve the stress on my fish? Ive kept fish for years but this is my first try at something as touchy as Discus. Any guidance would be greatly appreciated. The Medicine im using is "Sentry AQ, MARDEL Coppersave- For Ick, Velvet, and other external Parasites"
Thanks
