Also, is it possible to keep it 1/4 water and 3/4 land because i want to grow alot of plants and kee p couple of insects with the reptiles/amphibian(hope thats how you spell it). I would also try to keep the animals up in North Georgia where i can catch them, freferadly in Eastern North Georgia. For people that live up there, Lumpkin County.

Check out my post for my firebellies, if you do 1/4 water, you could get 2 of them if your interested. But for the divider I would silicon the diver in to keep the soil out of the water, not sure how to do this but you can find instructions online. You just glue it where you want in the tank and fill the bigger half with soil and the smaller half with water, the only thing is firebellies like more water though, but their the only thing i know that can live in a 10 gallon.
Wait what do you mean catch them? You want to catch the anphibian and put them in the tank? lol that second half confused me

Well its never good to take the animal out of the wild, unless its a tadpole. A lot of animals taken from the wild die of stress, yet some live. You have to be careful with insect too, because they could have been in poisons that could kill your animal. Its a lot safer (and easier) to just go to the petstore and buy a reptile/anphibian, AND go to the petstore and buy crickets!! :D

i agree about the cricket thing cuz of pesticides

but u can find some pretty cool stuff in some areas... i see no problem with it if u know wat ur doing and find out wat it is before u put it in ur diplay

In the area i was talking about there is not normally posions where insects could get into. Also i always check before i bring anything into my house, espically with animals and insects.
