Lights, lights and more LIGHTS!
Hey guys, so i'm in the final stages of my 55g planted tank and need some help on lighting. I saw a vid of another planted tank that had a light with the night and day setting it gave it that moonlight look which looked great. So i searched and came up with this one
Wave Point High Output T5 Fluorescent 2 Lamp Aquatic Lighting System at PETCO
Before that i had my eye on this one
Aquarium Lighting for Freshwater and Reef Systems: Nova Extreme Compact SLR T-5 Fixtures
So i was wondering if anyone else had experience with the blue or should i just stick with the freshwater nova? or are there any other lights you would recommend
I'd just go with this one: Fluorescent Aquarium Lighting: All-Glass Twin-Tube Black Strip Lights
That's what I use. It takes standard T8 bulbs that you can buy just about anywhere. I use 6500K daylight bulbs in it.
That's true, T5s might be too much light (unless you want to dose ferts daily and add pressurised CO2.)
