Feeder tank breeding
Hi i have a 55gal wit SA cichlids that love feeders, i know that it is risky cuz of parasites, i want to start a tank for breeding my own feeders so i dont have to worry about parasites, what are good fish to breed as feeders and what size tank do i need for this and other appliances that i might need besides a filter and other essentials.

thanks, what are breeding cages and how do they work? and any other advice/info, how do i get them to breed and what not?
Be careful with offering feeder fish. Often fish will refuse more healthy prepared foods once feeder fish make the menu.
Compared to the wide variety of commercial foods offered today and the vitamins/minerals contained therein,, Feeders provide little benefit other than tthe apparent enjoyment that some folks receive in offering them.
Once a week or two offering of feeders (not the spawn from first group), would prolly cause no harm, but any more often,,and as mentioned some fishes will refuse other more healthy foods. IMHO
