thank you but here in my city there is no baby brine shrimps :( to buy and i do not know how to do it i added salt and put a good air pump in it and one little spoon of cysts and nothing happened |
Why not try taking a pinch of hard-boiled egg yolk? Mix it with a jar of water and get a medicine dropper and squeeze in the water full of egg yolk and squirt it to a shoal of fry. Be careful not to overfeed. |

Here is the information I found in my book if that helps. I can only point out my theories or guesses as I had never tried hatching brine shrimps yet. 1. Eggs must be kept away from light and moisture. Check where you bought the container of brine shrimp eggs. If exposed to light and moisture, the chances of hatching rate will be undoubtedly low. 2. Temperature and salinity maintained at 25 degrees Celsius and 1.023 specific gravity respectively. 3. Aerate the water slightly to produce small bubbles which will disperse the eggs. Aerating vigorously tends to make the eggs crash against the sides of the container thus preventing the larva from hatching. 4. Hatching will occur in 24-36 hours if temperature is 25 degrees Celsius. The lower the temp, the longer and lesser the hatching rate. Hope this helps.:) |
