Hey evryone, new to the site and new to getting into fish more than just a 20 gallon gold fish tank. Im looking to set up my 90 gallon freshwater tank and wondering what size filter to get. Im thinking of the Fluval Fx5 because i have a tendency to over stock my 20 gallon now so i want more than enough filtration. My friend recommended the Fluval 405. Would the Fx5 be to large or cause problem with the fish as far as water current or anything else like that. I do like the Fx5 extra purge vale would make changing water or cleaning the filter out a lot easier. thanks for all the advise
Wow! That filter is a beast! I would guess that you would want something a touch bigger than the 405, but that fx5 might be a bit too much.
