Marineland Magnum 350 Canister filter air pockets!!!
 

Hello i purchased my filter about a month ago it is a major pain in the butt when i clean it i cannot figure out how to get the air pockets out of the canister help me plz!

You might try holding the return hose out of the water when you switch the uptake or intake valve open .
Sometimes laying/holding the filter on it's side for a moment can help also.

Also when it is running, try giving it a few good shakes. Sometimes air gets stuck in the filter and shaking it will help get the air out.

do the air pockets make the filter less eficient??? and i did get most the air out is it ok if there is still a little left???

So long as the filter is running,then the air will eventually be forced out.
Sometimes the filter will refuse to begin operation until the air is removed by method(s) described.
Also helps to fill the canister with dechlorinated water before starting it so that there is less room for air to become an issue.
