how to sink courgette's
 

I am trying to feed some courgette's to my bristlenose so that i try and make them breed. How can i sink courgette's? i tried 1 slice but it floated :( had to stick it to a driftwood.
Also in 1 hour they did not touch it yet. Should i give them more time? If yes how much should I give before I remove it?

I blanch mine for a short bit to soften it up and then use a fork to stab through it. The fork sinks to the bottom, taking the veggie with it. HTH

Most fish stores sell the veggie clips for tanks. Kym's idea works well too if you can't find them.

i hour and they dint eat them??? better not add anymore and remove it and try another day.

tonight i check if they ate it if not i remove it and give them algae wafer?

Yes. You can also try spinach or cucumber. My ABN loves cucumber more than anything!

Mine too! He is all over cucumber. He also loves algae wafers and even fights off the loaches when he can get his hands....errr...lips....on one ;-)

May I ask what the heck a courgette is? Regardless, for all veggies I use a veggie clip as well. I always worry that a fish or loach will poke themselves with the fork.

the ate from courgette so it is fine :)
