sump plumbing making lots of noise
 

I just built my own sump from a 20 gallon tank and used a eshopps hang on overflow. I did all the plumbing myself out of PVC and i just started everything up and it's making a bunch of noise. I was just wondering if there are any ways to damper the noise a bit because the aquarium is in my bedroom. Thanks for the help

if possible in the pipe that goes out from the overflow to the sump, stick a small piece of straw (drinking type) or a piece of airline tubing. you may have to mess this how deep to place it but this is what got mine quiet..
