I thought endlers were guppies? What's the difference?
Either way, they're very neat looking fish.

Endler's are "cousins" to the guppy, and so many times the two species have been interbred that there are all types of hybrids. All these hybrids are fertile. True I've read and heard that true Endler's strains are hard to come by. Every time I see a tank marked "Endlers" in the LFS they are always guppy/Endler's hybrids.

There was a period recently in which alot of my local Fish shops had Endlers in stock so I bought some and managed to find a dozen beautiful Endlers hybrids that a customer had brought in and I got them for £1 each! Bargain!
I've added them to my Guppy breeding programme and they're producing some wonderful results...healthy, active, hardy, beautiful Fish with a unique appearance, I'll get some photos up soon.
I think the jury is still out on whether they're actually a seperate species though. Personally I'm not at all convinced they are, they're very similar to wild type Guppies and I like to think of them more as a regional variant or at the very most a sub-species.
You won't regret buying them, I've fallen for them big time.
