PH Issues

My tank is going on 3 weeks old and everything looks healthy, however my PH test appears to be low. It has held at 7.8 the whole time no matter what changes I make. I've tried bigger water changes and multiple 10% changes a week. I have also started dosing with PH buffer last Thursday and so far still have seen no change. Alk, phos, nitrate, nitrite, ammonia, Ca are all within normal parameters and I have tried using 2 different Ph test kits. Does anyone have any other suggestions to help raise Ph?

If it is cycling do not do water changes because that will make it take longer. 7.8 is acceptable pH so don't worry. After it cycles use some buffer if it doesn't go up by its own.

When you say a "pH buffer", exactly what product did you use? And what are the actual alkalinity and calcium test results?
