Prctus cat and shrimp

Hello. I really want to get a pictus cat and some ghost shrimp or cherry shrimp. I was wondering if I could keep both of them in the same tank with the pictus eating the shrimp???

I believe Pictus cats would find the shrimp a tasty treat.

Agree, Pictus Catfish are predatory and get large. They need a large tank, at least a 4-foot, and should be in a group. Check out the profile info, click on the shaded name, or use the second tab from the left in the blue bar at the top to go to the Profile section.

I agree. The pictus wouldn't have to be anywhere near full grown. Even a measley 2" Pictus would make short work of ghost or red cherry shrimp. (I speak from actual experience here. I love my Pictus. He has a HUGE mouth, he even did back when he was a "baby" ;-))
