Water level & Aeration
 

Hi I was wondering if it was OK to fill a tank all the way to the rim (it has a glass canopy) or should you leave an inch between the water level and the canopy?

I have a canister filter pushin mad water thru my 15gal. Will this provide enough aeration in the tank?

There's one thing I don't get. You added CO2 and you have vigorous agitation of water movements.:squint:
You'll only be diffusing more CO2 than producing oxygen.

So what should I do?

I have a Fluval 204 - should I close the valve so it isn't running at full blast?

Yes. Just open it during the night as plants and fish use oxygen at night otherwise you'll see the fish gasping for air at night. Plants use CO2 during the day.

Nothing wrong with filling it to the rim.
