Is this a parasite??
Please watch this video and tell me if this is a parasite this platy has. I just noticed it today and none of the other fish have it. No weird behaviors at all, just these weird strings.... What do you guys think?

their white-ish type strings coming from the platys "chin" i guess you would call it...

Anchorworm maybe. Google it and see if it looks similar to what you see on your Platy.

No, from what I see online it doesn't appear to be the same. These "things" are very thin, almost thread like.

Really? I've been reading info on it and it all seems to say that it's very unlikely to show. and these are very visual. They haven't changed size/shape in 2 days...poor fishie

I agree with Chicklet you should get some parisite meds Jungle has a really good one that I have used before. Its a tablet and it turns the water blue you will need to remove the carbon from your filter while you are treating it.

Obviously it's a parasite,
The longer you let it go the less likely to save the fish and it will infect the entire tank, Which highly likely already has,
Not every thing plays exackly by the books, a parasite is just that a parasite whether inside the fish or outside it's attached and killing the fish.
