Frontosa Seems Sick/ Green Texas Aggression?
I have 3 Cyphotilapia frontosa, I don't know what's wrong with them for the past few months they've been acting really wierd. They barely eat and at random times they thrash back and forth while swimming up. It's very strange and they don't even eat bloodworms. Sometimes when I look in to my tank the fish is laying in the leaves of a plant in my tank. It's turned sideways and looks like its stuck or dead. But then a few minutes later they swim out. Also what can I do to get rid of my Green Texas' aggresive behavior? I've kept it in like a small jar inside the tank, but still when I lift him out he's mean again. Thanks
I have a 55 gal tank, with 3 frontosa all about the same size and one green texas. I feed them 2 times a day and have a heater and a filter in my tank. What's wrong? They barely eat, and thrash around while they do something that looks like their gulping up water, they seem very restless and most of the times they don't move much. Here's a pic. My frontosa looks like its dead but minutes later he comes back out.http://i51.tinypic.com/t7hlzd.jpg
The Frontosas are probably acting wierd because they require different water qualities then the Texas Cichlid because they are from completely different parts of the world
