How many juvenile Angelfish would you...
keep in a 55 gallon tank?

i like to start off with 4-6 angels and let them pair off on there own..getting rid of the less desirables as they grow..presuming you have a lfs that will take them..then just have 1-2 pair..if you arnt sure youcan get rid of any in the future just start with 3-4 ...thats just my experiences....i am sure you could use some other input tho...

while your at it try looking at an apistograma species ...particularly the cacatoides ....they look nice with angels but stay small...

Those are pretty for sure, tho I thought Rams were also pretty and small, they were very agressive and comfrontational so I'm a little nervous about other cichlids. I do like Eels, I have two Peacock eels on my other tank and might be looking for another species to add to my second tank.
