10G RCS Tank.
 

So I got my 10G tank up and going.. using a normal filter for the cycling while I find a sponge filter :o! Only a few questions.. could I keep a few Thai Micro Crabs with the RCS since they are so TINY.. and also a few of them snails that stir sand pretty well since I have a 1 1/2 inch sand bed as a substrate. Also I was wondering if theres another way to get away with no filter in a 10G RCS with some other small inverts.. tank. No fish will be in this tank its mainly for breeding RCS to feed to my ID sharks and Angel fish in my bigger tank. Please responde.

presumably melasian trumpet snails or similar snails you have in mind...will definatly do fine in the tank...you could get away with no filter with enough plants....but why not opt for the sponge filter....beter process of waste and more oxygen for those warmer temps...they get along just fine with most similar sized inverts but remember that most of the other inverts will oportunisticly prey upon thte baby shrimps....ADIOS....
